By Theodocia Swecker

Coming Fall, 2015!

Winter is coming fast, and the days are getting cold.  Just as children want to snuggle with their moms, the white ducks need a warm spot to sleep and so does the old mountain lion.  With a little teamwork and persistence, the ducks find a purrrfect spot to sleep.  And the old mountain lion gains something he never had before.

Theodocia Swecker’s DUCKS DUCKS is the perfect read-aloud for young children, whether in a school library or on Mom’s lap. Children will join in the expressive quacks of the white ducks and the growls of the old mountain lion as they both search for a warm place to sleep, finally finding exactly the right spot together. They’ll delight in finding white ducks among the warmly-colored fall aspens in Swecker’s rich illustrations, and return to the gentle story again and again on their own.
