Pickles Tails Volume Two  is the second installment of Brian Crane’s Pickles strips dedicated to the hijinks of the beloved Pickles family pets, Roscoe and Muffin. This hardcover, full-color collection is the second in the two-volume set of Pickles Tails, and contains Roscoe and Muffin picking up where Pickles Tails Volume One left off. Beginning in 2008, and moving ahead through 2020, all of the beloved Pickles characters accompany their favorite furry friends with all the warmth and antics you have come to expect from this hilarious family!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Brian Crane’s Pickles is syndicated in over 900 newspapers worldwide. He has been nominated three times for the Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year award by the National Cartoonists Society and won the award in 2013. In 2001, and again in 2019, Pickles won the prestigious National Cartoonist Society’s Best Comic Strip of the Year. It has also been nominated for that award on three separate occasions. Crane lives in Sparks, Nevada, with his wife and family, which consists of seven children and twenty-one grandchildren.

FROM THE FOREWORD

When Pickles began running in the Binghamton Press and Sun-Bulletin in 1990, my parents became instant fans. They would laugh together at the daily adventures of Opal and Earl because they couldn’t help but see themselves in the cartoon couple. My dad particularly loved Roscoe the dog and had a great appreciation for Brian Crane’s humor and drawing style. My dad was Johnny Hart, creator of the comic strips B.C. and Wizard of Id, so I had good reason to trust his judgment and became a Pickles fan myself.
